Massive fan of the game, currently working on 100 percenting the demo! quick question though, how do ya actually equip the stickers into the emote slots

I tried playing this game and I guess I done something wrong when trying to install it. I got the game running and the character just moves to the right direction, and to also add the controls themself don't cooperate, not a good start. Could I get some help

This game is fantastic and I'm blown by production quality. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it. The thing I would suggest is having an option to at least display xbox button prompts, they currently don't resemble any controller so it's also hard to figure what buttons I should press mid action when button prompts appear. Also key rebinds for controller, as much as I try my brain can't switch from Light attack not being on square (playstation) lol

Also maybe adjust the the difficulty for single player or add mid level checkpoints, couldn't beat stage 2 on heaven 4 times and it get's annoying replaying the same areas over and over to get to the boss where I failed. Also the mini boss in the beginning of chapter 2 is annoying because it's hard to get them, due to their slow speed projectiles protecting them.

Otherwise absolutely love how different all the characters are, from playstyles to animations to designs

the game is great but the problem is my pc isn't enough for it to ran it good and it goes pretty slow and laggy so if you guys could add in the next demo in the options demo options for remove or turn lower the particles and so much light there is i think it would help me but sure the game looks and is great <:)

Mega dumb Question but do I have to download both this and the chapter 1 demo to access all the content released so far?

No you do not; only Episode 2!

Hey Hello! Recently I have been playing the game and fortunately I have not had any problems except in the performance and I think this is something that many would like to know... the first thing is, what would be the minimum requirements for the game to go at 60fps stable?

And the second but less relevant thing, will there be a language selector to change the game text? like Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc?

Thank you if you answer this and have a nice afternoon :D

I actually don't know the mininum requirements to get the game to run stable. It seems to vary person to person but I will be figuring out the specifics of it when I put the game on steam!

As of now I only plan on doing English, as I do not have access to a translator!

I have complited all 4 episodes and came up with a several notes:

1. Gremile feels kinda OP. And I like it

2. Annoying enemy on episode 2. One that cast 5 projectiles that move 1 sm/h. It WAY too slow for such a dynamic game

3. Is there any way to deal with homing bullets that croc on episode 3 shoots? It's so annoying.

4. ... Damn. I wanted to make 4 notes. Like 1 note for every episode. But that's all the problems I met.  uh...  Oh, I know! Characters wear clothes. That's a problem. Yeah...

Sry my english.  This is not my native language

This game is great but the scroll bars in the menus dont seem to work, its fine for the achivements but the game completely softlocks if I go into the keybind menu because the scrolling wont work and I have to restart, does anybody know how to fix this?

As of now that menu is Mouse only. It is infact the only menu that uses a mouse!

I am considering have it to be movement input supported like every other menu in the game!

Really loving this! Feels SUPER good, sounds SUPER good, looks SUPER fucking good. Also really nice to finally have a fighting game with sexy men, it's refreshing, honestly!

It's already one of my favourite games this year! I know that's silly to say with it only being a demo but it seriously feels so COMPLETE already, which just makes me excited to see this game in its final state! (So much so I wouldn't mind paying more than £10 for it tbh lmao)

(Edit: I had trouble getting access to the added content, just had to reinstall it)

That issue probably comes from the fact you may of played the 1st demo in the past?

Later updates shouldnt have that problem since I won't need to be changing core save data information now!

Now that you've mentioned it, I do remember trying to download the 1st one a long while back but I don't quiet remember how that went, I'll take your word that might've had something to do with it!

*Uninstalled and reinstalled controller and related software drivers, launched the game as administrator and it is finally registering inputs. Deleted previous bit of initial review as it is no longer relevant and appears to have been a driver issue on my part(?)

I only played around in the opening area of the first chapter as I had just finished the Chapter 1 demo without realizing Chapter 2 was available. Will play more in the future but this appears to run smoother and already you can see that there is much more content available in this demo. I look forward to playing more in a few hours!

hi! ok so please disregard my last message on the old version i didnt realise there had been an update XP the game is play alright and i can start the game now and can play. my only issues are no matter how low the resolution the cutscenes are a bit slow and i cant seem to find the grab button at all.

other then that im really enjoying it  ^^ cant remember the last time i played a game like this, you did a great job and i cant wait to see what happens next

Note: This is copied from my review I left for the demo lol

An absolute blast of a game this is, currently! Played all 4 episodes so far, as well as a few extra goodies that I've earned throughout my playthrough. Admittedly I'm not all that good at these kinds of games so I did end up playing it on Heaven difficulty so I wouldn't have too much of a rough time, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless!

What I liked about the demo so far:

  1. How the episodes are done: In the first demo, it was one long session that you had to complete in one sitting. I like it now that the Chapters are split into two episodes, shorter but better to play through all around, and it doesn't feel like a chore to get through them in one sitting unlike the original demo.
  2. The Characters (and their playstyles): Some of the designs for the characters are a joy to look at, and how they play as well! For the sake of this playthrough I went through the game as Gremile, and I enjoy how quick he is along with his means of taking down enemies and such (second best being Enfer cause he's just TOO PURE oh good lord!) It's a shame there aren't any unlockable trophies to view the character models of the main 4 playable characters, but it doesn't take away from the fact that they're great nonetheless!
  3. The unlockables: There's so many of them compared to the original demo, along with a few others that you can earn simply by completing their respective episode too! Can't really say much due to spoilers but just know that there are three unlockable characters you can earn, plus SO much more in store by playing through the game.
  4. The amount of talent work this has: So many recognizable VO/VAs and artists for the game! Current favorite is hands-down Michael Kovach, just love that voice he does for Gremile "Hot Shot" (a cute, albeit a bit raspy voice combined with a not-so cute personality and fowl mouth to boast with it!) A few other honorable mentions is Gianni for his voices of The Twins and Pursuer Agares, and Sean Chiplock for Lutin and Enfer!

Something I did notice is that, unlike the original demo where you did earn credits throughout each checkpoint, in this demo you don't earn any extra credits throughout the episodes. I'm guessing this is because of how shorter the episodes are in terms of length (Especially for Chapter 1 since that episode was split into two), but yeah. Also for multiplayer, hit registration is a bit "hit or miss" since when I playing through the first two episodes with my boyfriend, sometimes my melee attacks wouldn't exactly register with the enemy hitboxes (for the record, my boyfriend was hosting and my ping was around 90ms, although on rare occasion it would have a sudden spike of 2000ms when I first joined the session. Don't know what his ping was since he was hosting).

Overall, however, aside from a few things that I felt a bit iffy about, which are just a matter of opinion and minor, along with multiplayer needing a bit more tweaking in my honest thought, I really enjoyed this demo a lot, and so did my boyfriend too! I've also been recommending this game and spreading the word to other friends of mine to get them into playing this amazing game too! I wish you luck in future development for this game Octii!!

excellent updates and bug fixes, im liking the game even more. but i have to ask; is a pause button in the works ?

I don't have plans for a pause button as I want the experiance to be consistent between single and multiplayer!

By episode 3; Your game is too hard for its own good ON "HEAVEN"!!!

In give'em hell stage when gauge is full it force you to end the stage maybe give choice to stay for explore another room / go next stage

It ending is an intended gameplay mechanic!

(+1)

Can't beat episode 2 on account of the final boss taking 30 mins to kill with no healing during the fight -_- Definitely needs more playtesting because no boss fight needs to be that goddamn long

(+1)

Would also be nice if credits weren't limited throughout the entire episode forcing me to replay it entirely again (or at least giving checkpoints or something). It gets tedious skipping cutscenes after the tenth or so time...

Some cheats would be nice!!!

Okay, so I assume you are playing the game wrong, because no boss fights take 30 minutes to kill. Are you utilizing the Combo Multiplier + Grab Mechanic?

(+1)

The boss in question is that large duke, who is ungrabbable anyway. And even if he was, I usually get to that stage with 0 credits left and half hp left. So with no healing I just end up dying in two hits, forcing me to replay the entire episode again (on Heaven btw).

I could always simply "git gud" but the lack of checkpoints and annoying boss mechanics makes the idea tedious as hell.

Ah, I see!

So, just walk me through this. Did you download the Chapter 2 demo and play that?

Because this Chapter 2 Demo has Chapter 1 stuff in it, plus new additions to Chapter 1. You don't need to download Chapter 1 AND 2. Just Chapter 2.

Deleted 30 days ago

oh nonono, don't do that. Delete the old files (best to clear your save data too), then Launch the EP02 demo!

The first stage had me hooked. The voice acting is fantastic, the music absolutely ROCKS, the stages and characters ooze style. Combat's fun and the movesets are pretty simple to grok, but leave plenty of room to experiment and find one's style! It's nice to have difficulty options for a game like this, all of which felt pretty well tuned for their respective settings. Keep your eyes on this one.

Thanks for the demo!

And thank you for playing my game!
